Yoga & Therapeutics
This is a therapeutic class which integrates active and somatic yoga with simple breathing practices, meditation and deep relaxation. The class takes into consideration the tensions and repetitive strains we accrue related to our working environment, especially those who spend their day sitting at a desk using a computer. Yoga for office workers has been shown to help relieve the common symptoms which many office workers experience such as lower back pain, fatigue and stress. This class will bring you the relief your body and mind seek.
As we grow older our bodies start to show ever increasing signs of ageing, like the natural change of our body shape, skin tone, energy levels and changes in our bones, joints and muscles. Attending this style of gentle yoga & therapeutics class will help you alleviate these symptoms by releasing tight spaces in the body with therapeutic yoga sequences and gentle, slow mindful movements. This supportive class will also help you to build strength, mobility and flexibility whilst improving your respiratory health.
The practice of this yoga & therapeutics class is designed to cultivate greater mind-body awareness, regulate your nervous system and release stress, anxiety, tension and tiredness from your mind and body. You will experience the many benefits of simple body movements which are designed to keep our bodies feeling open, youthful and healthy. It will leave you feeling calm, grounded and balanced.
This class is for any age and experience and for those who wish to practice gently and relax deeply.
